We are happy with how much is happening here this summer! We cordially invite you to a rich cultural program, which they prepared for you in the Přítomnost cinema and on the Rooftop bar in August. Come and enjoy the mild summer evenings with a drink in hand while listening to great music. In the first week of August, the young pop singer Sofian Medjmedj will play for you at the double concert on August 2nd and 3rd, a few days later on 5th and 6th he will be replaced by the musical discovery of last year Štěpán Hebík alias 7krát3. On Wednesday 11th of August you can listen to Monika Načeva and her band Zdivočelí koně. On the 21 st we will welcome Slovaks Billy Barman.

Czech film news and Frankenstein in theater

In August, the comedy film Shoky and Morthy: The last big event comes to theaters. Movie about a group of adult youtubers who set out on a wild ride on the D1 motorway to unravel the mystery of the Nine Crosses. In the Presence, you can come to see the film, for example, 7.8. at 17:30. Another Czech film, Prvok, Šampón, Tečka a Karel by director Patrik Hartl, has also been on the program since the end of July, and it tell story about four friends with a midlife crisis.

If you are more into classics, you can look forward to the NATIONAL THEATER LIVE screening of Frankenstein with Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role.

IN COLORS by Michal Rapant

In August, Café Radost will be revived by a new exhibition by Michal Rapant entitled In Colors. We therefore cordially invite you to the opening, which will take place on 18th of August from 18:00. We will start with a welcome drink and a guided tour in the lobby. Then we will move to the cinema and to the Roof, where an accompanying program will be prepared - screenings and DJs.

Karel Honzík and Josef Havlíček - two great architects whose legacy is a number of important buildings, including Radost. The first is resting in Prague's Slavín cemetery. The last resting place of the second of the greats, Josef Havlíček, did not have the same respect. Until recently.
